Alison Krauss is one of the most popular and richest Country Singer who was born on the 23rd July in Decatur Illinois United States. She and LeAnn Kymes were two of the earliest recipients of a Grammy Award. Alison Maria Krauss is an American singer, songwriter and bluegrass musician. She was born on July 23, 1971. Alison Krauss started her music career as a child, winning local competitions at the age of 10. She recorded for the first album at 14. She signed to Rounder Records in 1985 and released her first solo album in 1987. The year 1989 saw her invited to join Alison Krauss & Union Station together with whom she performed.
