Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco was born in Canada. She is American. More than 20 albums have been released by her. DiFranco describes her music as folk-rock or alternative, but it also contains influences such as hip-hop, punk and jazz. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy recipient Ani DiFranco was the founder of the DIY movement being one of the first musicians to launch her own label 1990.
