Heidi Watney

Heidi Watney was born May 19, 1981. She is an American sportscaster who is a reporter at Apple TV+. She was an National Merit Scholar and attended the University of San Diego on an academic scholarship. she graduated with distinction in 2003. Watney was a contestant in Miss California USA in 2002 and finished as the first third place. From September 2003 onwards, Watney worked for KMPH-TV (FOX 26) in Fresno. She began her career as an early morning traffic reporter before moving to anchoring on weekends in 2005, and later becoming a sports reporter on weekdays. She arrived in Massachusetts in 2008 and began her career for New England Sports Network (NESN). She was a Boston Red Sox gameday reporter. Watney was also host of the Ultimate Red Sox Show and Red Sox Report.In January 2012, Watney began working for Time Warner Cable SportsNet as a reporter for LA Galaxy. But, she was hired by MLB Network in November 2012 and remained there for nine years. She was also the host of Quick Pitch.
